One way to connect the "power switch" from the P1900 to the Mac mini is to remove the push button power switch on the rear panel. This can be accomplished by prying apart the plastic rear panel from the metal EMI shielding. You will need to pop a few of the platic rivets that connect the two, but they are easy to seperate and nothing will be damaged by seperating them. Just be careful not to break off the plastic rear panel. In this picture I used a Sharpie to hold the rear panel apart from the metal EMI shield while I remove the switch.
