How do I wire the P1260?
Here are several pictures of the cables included
with, or available as options for the P1260.
Power Cable Kit (included with P1260)
Below is a picture of the P1260 PSU and the
standard power cables that are included with
the unit.
J1 (on the left side) has the following connections:
- Red - +12V battery/alternator input power
cable
- Black - Ground
- Yellow - Ignition input
- Blue - "Pulse Start" remote input
J2 (on the right side) has the following
connections:
- Red - +12V output to CarPC and LCD screen
- Black (large wire) - Ground
- Green - ACPI to motherboard
- Black (small wire) - ACPI return (also ground)
- Blue - DLYON to audio amp, electric antenna,
other aux devices for remote control

Optional Power Cable Kit for Travla C134/5,
Morex 26XX/36XX, and other cases
The cables below can be purchased to simplify
the wiring of the P1260 to cases such as
the Travla C134. The cable kit includes (left
to right):
- Morex PSU power cable - connects to the Red
and Black (large) output wires on J2 (above)
of the P1260
- Case Power Cable - used in lieu of the Morex
PSU power cable (above) so that you can plug
into the original power input connector without
having to open the CarPC case. Also connects
to the Red and Black (large) output wires
on J2 of the P1260.
- ACPI Cable - used to connect the ACPI (shutdown
controller) signal to the motherboard. Connects
to the Green and Black (small) wires on the
P1260

Here's an illustration of the +12V/GND connection
to the Morex 60 W PSU.

Optional Screen Cable
The optional screen cable can be used to
power Lilliput and Xenarc screens by splicing
into the +12V output of the J2 connector
(above)

Below is a picture of the Travla C134 case
with an EPIA M10000 motherboard and a Morex
60 Wat DC-DC PSU. The P1260 connects to the
+12V input of the Morex and the ACPI header
of the motherboard. The output of the Morex
feeds the standard ATX power voltages (+5v,
+3.3v, +12v, -12V) to the motherboard.
